Customers
In DigifyCRM, managing customers is at the core of CRM functionality. This section covers how to create, manage, and interact with customer data efficiently.
8.1 New Customer Contact
A customer can have multiple contacts for different purposes. Here’s how to manage them.
Steps:
- Navigate to Customers from the main menu.
- Select an existing customer or create a new one.
- Under the Contacts tab, click Add New Contact.
- Input the contact details (e.g., name, email, phone).
- Define access permissions for the contact (e.g., view invoices, proposals, etc.).
- Save the contact.
8.2 Customer Registration
You can enable a customer self-registration system to onboard new customers.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Customers.
- Enable Allow Customer Registration.
- Provide the registration link to your customers.
- Customers can now register, and you can review their information before approving their account.
8.3 Sending Proposal to Customer or Lead
You can send sales proposals directly from DigifyCRM to customers or leads.
Steps:
- Navigate to Sales > Proposals.
- Create a new proposal and select the customer or lead from the dropdown.
- Attach any necessary documents or terms.
- Click Send to Email to dispatch the proposal to the customer.
8.4 New Customer
Adding a new customer in DigifyCRM is straightforward.
Steps:
- Go to Customers > Add New Customer.
- Fill out the company details, including VAT, currency, and address.
- Assign the customer to an admin if needed.
- Save the customer, and the record will be available in your CRM.
8.5 Customer Admins
You can assign internal staff as customer admins to manage specific customer accounts.
Steps:
- Go to the Customers section.
- Select a customer, and in the Admin Assignments section, click Assign Admin.
- Choose staff members to assign to the customer account.
- These admins will now receive notifications and updates about the customer.
8.6 Reports
DigifyCRM provides comprehensive customer reports to track data.
Steps:
- Navigate to Customers > Reports.
- Select the type of report (e.g., customer growth, sales performance).
- Generate and export the report in CSV or PDF formats.
8.7 Exporting Customers' Invoices/Estimates/Payments to ZIP
You can export all invoices, estimates, and payment records of a customer for auditing or sharing.
Steps:
- Go to Customers, and select the customer.
- In the customer overview, click Export All Data.
- Choose the data type (invoices, estimates, payments) and click Export to ZIP.
- The ZIP file will be generated and available for download.
